DESCRIPTION: The students of Nursery were made aware of different celestial objects in the sky during day and night. The students were divided into two groups in which 1st group to identify the objects during day time and 2nd group to identify the night objects. They also identified the shade of the sky during day and night. They painted a drawing sheet and pasted celestial objects on it.

LEARNING OUTCOMES: Students were able to identify and recognize different celestial bodies. They were made aware of the colour of the sky during day and night.

DESCRIPTION: Students were told that their planet is called as Earth or Blue Planet. They were given newspapers and asked to crush them and form a ball. Blue and green paper cutouts were also given and told them to paste on the crushed ball. They were told that the blue area of the Earth covers the water and the green part is the area where we all live. They enjoyed pasting the cutouts and gained knowledge about the Earth.

LEARNING OUTCOMES: Students learnt the name of their planet. They understood that planet earth covers land and water.

DESCRIPTION OF THE ACTIVITY:In the beginning, students were shown different faces of moon. They were told that face of the moon changes because of the rotation around the Earth. They were asked to cut the cream of the biscuits exactly like the shape of the moon and place it on A-4 size sheet and form phases of the moon.

LEARNING OUTCOMES: Students were able to make phases from the cream biscuits and able to learn the name of the phases of the moon. They enjoyed while performing the activity.

DESCRIPTION OF THE ACTIVITY:Students learnt about the planet Earth. They learnt that it is also called ‘ Blue Planet’. Facts related to the planet Earth was shared among the students. Students also learnt about other planets in the solar system. They learnt the names of all the eight planets present in the solar system in a sequence. They were asked to make head gear related to the planet present in the solar system. A quiz was also conducted for reinforcement of the learning among the students.

LEARNING OUTCOMES: Students were able to identify and learn the names of the eight planets. They also learnt the facts related to solar system. They gathered information related to the planet Earth.

DESCRIPTION:Students had learnt that a group of stars forming a pattern in the sky is called as constellation. They brought a black A-4 size sheet, and drew different constellation on it. They learnt general knowledge about constellation. They also learnt about the Norths Star present in the sky.

LEARNING OUTCOMES: Students were able to gather information about different constellations present in the sky. They were also able to identify them.

DESCRIPTION:The students had to make a 3D model on solar system, for that students had brought colours and sheets. Groups were made in order to conduct the activity, Students made different planets in group and hanged them together to form a solar system.

LEARNING OUTCOMES: Students learnt that different planets have different size and some have rings on them. They learnt about various characteristics of solar system and planets.
